The Problem: Slab Failure

The Solution: Fibrescreed CRS
ADVANTAGES
- CRS can be applied throughout the year
- Fast installation minimizes costly traffic management and aircraft movement disruption
- The finished repair can withstand very high traffic loadings within minutes of application
- Neat in appearance, CRS is designed to blend with the surrounding surface
- The repair is totally impervious to water and salts, thus arresting further deterioration

APPLICATION

The defective area is milled to the required width and depth, and where necessary, the existing joint sealing compound is removed.
Loose material and debris are swept and removed. Dust is then removed by the use of hot compressed air.
Where the repair depth is excessive, hot applied Fibrescreed infill material is laid to within approximately 10mm of the final level. The remaining recess is then filled with Fibrescreed
RC100A compound to finish flush with the pavement surface. While the RC100A compound is still molten, a dressing of pre-heated high PSV aggregate is applied.
